Helen KNEW To NOT TRUST laypersons about the law

Det. James Ward manipulated Helen in her interview. He told her a “contract” MUST involve her being paid some cash or it is just a “memorandum of understanding”. And so Helen believed him and lied in court that she had NOT signed any contracts.

BUT, Helen also chose to testify to my counsel Ms Trombly that I threatened to take her house and savings. Here is the exchange:

THE COURT: Okay.

MS. TROMBLY: And it’s at the very top, and it says “Your savings and house could be taken in a lawsuit when someone gets hurt”.

Q. Now, I’m going to suggest to you Mr. Lepp is giving you that advice.

A.(CLARKE) I’m sorry, Mr. Lepp is not a lawyer.

Q. Mr. Lepp is just trying to give you an opinion that potentially if someone or their dog were to be hurt at the dog park you could have been sued for —

A. I don’t believe that that’s the case given my agreement with the town. It has to specifically do with my work as a volunteer, and, as I stated before, my job as a volunteer was cutting the grass, taking out the garbage and picking up other people’s poop.

Notice that Helen knows to NOT trust my legal opinion. BUT, she trusted Det. James Ward’s legal opinion, because he is not a lawyer, either.

Then she says:

given my agreement with the town.

Also, she listed EVERYTHING in her mind she was responsible for:

my job as a volunteer was cutting the grass, taking out the garbage and picking up other people’s poop.

Read all the OTHER responsibilities she swore to take on:
